How LocalBizzInfo Listings Work

The directory contains business profiles submitted by users or created as unowned directory records. Inclusion is not an endorsement.

Submission and moderation

Listings can be reviewed for directory fit and assigned an active, pending, rejected, or suspended status. Active means publicly available; it does not certify quality, licensing, insurance, or fitness for a project.

Claimed and owned

A claimed Listing has been connected to a registered account through the claim workflow. This ownership relationship is separate from verification. Unowned Listings can still contain public business information.

What “Verified profile” means

Verified is a narrow, administrator-controlled profile status based on the information available during moderation. It is not a background check and does not mean LocalBizzInfo independently validated licensing, insurance, professional certification, pricing, or every profile statement. Users should confirm requirements directly with the business and relevant authorities.

Paid and featured placement

Paid or Founding access, featured placement, ownership, and verification are separate states. Payment and featured placement do not create verification.

Self-reported details and reviews

License numbers, insurance information, establishment dates, contact details, and similar fields may be supplied by the business or a contributor. Unless expressly stated, treat them as self-reported. Reviews are user submissions subject to moderation; LocalBizzInfo does not fabricate ratings.

Corrections and duplicates

Duplicate records may be consolidated while preserving a redirect from an old URL. To report an incorrect or duplicate Listing, follow our Corrections Policy.
